The Internet has become the most relevant method for self expression.

Why? Since everything on the Internet will be around forever (unless deleted) someday, there will be many more dead people's myspaces, blogs, digital art, etc. than there are today. Perhaps anthropologists from the future won't be able to tell the difference from a non-famous person who put hella shit on the Internet, and people who were actually famous and/or culturally relevant at the time.
