Re: Present and Future Web Development

Web Development has closely mirrored the development of programming environments in general. Perhaps it did not start from a base quite as low as card-punch entry, but the later parallels in modularization and user-friendly support tools are striking. We must surely be reaching an asymptote where most two-legged mammals have the capability to create a web-site. But QUALITY Web-Sites... that's another story.
