Hm. Interesting question, Brett, especially when it's examined from a new, 21st-century perspective, and not from the ideological point of view of the 1930s. I mean, we're not really talking about pure capitalism vs. pure communism. China's system is some kind of amalgam of the two, and the American version of capitalism has definitely had its wings clipped. So what, exactly, are we talking about? Also, it's interesting that you framed the debate as "capitalism vs. communism," rather than "democracy vs. communism." What's your reason for doing so?
