In countries like the US statistics are to a large extend based on race.  All sort of inferences are made for large blocks of segments of the population based on one single identifier factor; race. For the sake of scientific rigor among social sciences can we rely on anthropological and sociological considerations based on the color of the skin?  or should we rely more heavily on SES (socio-economic-status)?Our habits, customs, values, beliefs and other core constructs of our idiosyncrasies and life style are a function of our SES not a function of our race.  When you study humanity no matter what their origin, race or ethnicity you discover that are more commonalities among people from the same SES than from people with the same race or nationality.  Looking ahead, how can we build a body of scientific data in social sciences that it is not only free from race biases but that also use concepts with rigor?
