A Lone Wolf
As a somewhat compulsive problem solver I suppose becoming an inventor was inevitable. I've have had what I laughingly refer to as a "rich and varied" career path which has provided broad context for my problem solving and inventing. As a result I've put my not insubstantial nose into a lot of different business, educational and political arenas.

Shortyy after 9/11, our government started a media blitz that begged Americans to "live brave" by going out to dinner and shopping. If we are in fact the "land of the brave" why would we need to be encouraged to live brave. Would not that be our natural state?
Why are so many Americans willing to trade our Constitutional freedoms for safety? Why are the politics of fear increasingly successful? If we are neither free nor brave should we change the closing stanza of the National Anthem? Fundamental questions and I look forward to your answers.
