I am the Founder of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, www.worldtaichiday.org Ten years ago I set out with my wife to create a global health & healing event that would span the globe, engaging people of all nations and cultures to celebrate in a global Tai Chi & Qigong movement. Today World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is celebrated in over 60 nations, at 10 am local time worldwide, beginning in the earliest time zones in New Zealand and then spreading across hundreds of events in cities spanning the globe, to end with events in final time zones of Hawaii. World Tai Chi & Qigong Day has held events including at the United Nations in NYC, the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway, etc. It has been recognized by the UN World Health Organization, governors, senates, and mayors of the United States as well as other nations around the world. You can learn more at www.WorldTaiChiDay.org where you'll find local events you can participate in, all events are free and open to the public. You'll also find free medical research on Tai Chi & Qigong, as well as many other free health & educational resources. Qi is the energy of life. Qigong is an exercise to promote a healthy relaxed flow of life energy. Tai Chi is one of the many wonderful aspects of Qigong. Qigong is believed to be about 2,000 years old.
