I agree with Linky.  It is important that evangelicals and other religious groups join the environmental movement.  I'd also like to note that the Pope recently decried pollution as a sin.

This is a much better interpretation of the bible, then the converse.  I've heard many times that the bible promotes us using up the earth (be fruitful and multiply).
