I am am Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I teach in the areas of education law, special education policy and practice, and principal preparation. I am very interested in restoring some depth to the discourse in public arenas. I find it interesting that the most stimulating current affairs coverage in broadcast media come from Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Don Imus. But mostly, I think the American people can do better, and I think many more of us want to.
