I think that God exists, but I think that many people get stuck on their idea of who God is instead of really thinking about it themselves. People accept God for a veriety of reasons, but mostly fear. Fear of death or going to hell, but accepting God from fear is not really accepting God. God wants your unconditional love, and in return, promises eternal happiness. This statement gets so confused it is funny. Think about it. God is all things, in ALL things. So in accepting and loving EVERYTHING in your immediate experience INCLUDING yourself you can be eternally happy in the moment. How could you not be? If you truly love everything you will be truly happy, thats a given. What is interesting is that every moment is eternal, time does not exist (as science tells us). So God is just everything at all times. All actions, events, things, people. All things on all levels and dimensions. Once you learn to accept them all for what they are, through reason and logic, you ARE in heaven eternally. Untill then, you ARE in hell eternally. Duh. Its all a metaphor, always has been. People screw up when they take it "literally", or what they think is literal. The truth is that all things are relative, and perception is all powerful. You LITERALLY are what you think you are. But you have to have no doubt in your mind that you are it, or you can't be it. So what is the ultimate being to be: God. You can be God if you choose to, like Jesus, Muhammed, and Buddha obviously did, or you can choose to be under him, or just as bad above. Choosing under or above will be true to you but no one else. Choosing God will be true to all, because it is truth, not just metaphorical truth. Everything you see, hear, smell, taste, feel, think, or whatever, is God, just in metaphor. So you can play this game, be Billy the janitor, or Scruffy the mayor, but you aren't yourself until you admit you are God and that everyone you meet is too, and the grass, and the trees, and the bees. Accept them all or you'll never be happy. All we have to fear is fear itself, get it?
