This one keeps me up at night as well. If the big bang theory is true I find it hard to believe that it just was. In my classical mind there has to be a catalyst. It's impossible for me to comprehend anything else, but this brings up even more problems. What begat what and where did it come from. If you believe that something can't come from nothing then what can you believe?
