I grew up in Dallas then freelanced in Austin for a decade (carpenter, bartender, musician) before finishing my electrical engineering degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. I've spent the last 20 years in R&D, building optical instrumentation in New Mexico and designing experimental equipment for the University of Texas Psychology Dept. I have been a born again Christian, a casual Buddhist, a devoted Pantheist and an aspiring brujo, in that order and oddly cumulative.
