I think that the ultimate reason for living is to know the truth and to join in purpose with what it might be. Whenever someone used to ask me to tell a little about myself on the internet, my response was to describe more transient and artificial matters concerning myself- e.g. appearence, favorite band. Not that I'm totally out of touch with such things now, but I'm glad my initial reaction to this section was a philosophical statement of faith. Because in the end your face can be away and so can your stature and muscle mass, but there is an eternal element which can not be scwelched, even by death and I intend to have that represent me more so than ever now.

Well, I've heard that the science community did not jump right on to the big bang band wagon(try saying that 3 times fast, seriously, do it) because the main proponent behind it's beginnings was a catholic priest and the science community felt like excepting the theory would almost imply they were basing their exceptance of it on their preconcieved notions on God. That sentence feels garbled, so I'll restate. They(the science community) was slow to except the big bang originally because of the theory's overt implications of there being a God. They only would except it as it became-due to mounting scientific evidence- more and more difficult to reject. So I think many have felt that the theory implys an original alchemist(God).
