Nice to meet you, my name's Benjamin Taylor, or just Ben. I live in Boulder, Colorado currently and I am a junior at the University of Colorado. My major is journalism and I am particularly interested in editing, publishing and media studies.

Before coming to Boulder I lived in the Aspen, Colorado valley and was an avid snowboarder and before going to Aspen I was in the U.S. Marines. I have definetly enjoyed life from many perspectives and I am convinced that Big Think has potential to change the world for the better!

Why "The Truth?" Because that is the treasure that I am seeking. My prefered methods for exchanging ideas are through the study of dialogue as a process and a product that can be mass-produced.

The topics that I am most looking forward to discussing with the Big Think community are: Organized religion vs personal pirituality; Philanthropic entrepreneurship; Ecological-friendly traveling; and Culture (with a capital "C"); Anthropology; History; Military (especially my beloved USMC); Literature and Social Services.
