Tom Stewart
Tom Stewart is the editor of
Harvard Business Review
. He has held positions as the editorial director of
Business 2.0
and a member of the board of editors of
Fortune
. He wrote the book
Intellectual Capital: The New Wealth of Organizations
(1997) after initiating "intellectual capital" as an academic field in a series of
Fortune
articles. His second book,
The Wealth of Knowledge: Intellectual Capital and the Twenty-first Century Organization
(2002), explores further business applications of intellectual capital. Stewart earned his B.A. in English from Harvard University and received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from City University, London.
