It is pretty much by example. What is most extraordinary is that what we presently hold true as good is being erroded because we find that we seek singular pleasures/desires as opposed to what is beneficial for the group. It is almost as if the CONCEPT (not necessarily the practice) of socialism is what is best; essentially thinking of the group benefit, beyond the individual gain. I should assist others, others should assist me, however all of that nicety flies inthe face of capitalism. To some degree we are trying, but we want capitalism, but we also want warm fuzzies.
